This year your efforts helped us
to raise over $7,000 for our Community Fund. The weather
conditions this year were much more favorable for our more than 320 registered
runners. Michelle Sousa (19:50) took first place, setting a new course record
for the women, beating Kristen Kemp by a mere second. Clay Howland (18:05) won
the men’s division missing the course record by ten seconds. Also,
congratulations go out to William Viens, the winner of the best costume award,
who will be transformed into a character for the 2008 logo.

Enjoy running along the fast one uphill USATF certified (RI06007RN) and
sanctioned (07-174) course through historic Rumford. As always running in a
tasteful costume is encouraged.
